ILE ST-QUENTIN CONCERT SERIES
GENERAL
Where and how will the concerts be held?
The Île St-Quentin concert series will be presented on a floating stage, by the company Contre Courant. Spectators must attend the concerts only on non-motorized watercraft.
When and where is the event?
August 25 to 27 (from Friday to Sunday), on Île St-Quentin in Trois-Rivières.
Watercraft
You have two options:
Option 1:
When purchasing your ticket, select the “I have my own boat” option. Then, bring your own or rent one from the supplier of your choice. Boats must be non-motorized. Paddle boards, kayaks, regular and Rabaska canoes are all accepted models.
Option 2:
When purchasing your ticket, add the boat rental of your choice to your cart. Important: If choosing a multi-passenger boat, be sure it has enough spots for your group. Then, make sure everyone has a concert ticket!
The Maïka Aventure kiosk will open at 5:30 p.m. on August 25 and 26, and at noon on August 27. It is located near the boat launch. Directions will be posted on site.
Where is the event being held?
Located 150 km from Montréal and 130 km from Québec City, Île St-Quentin is an island off Trois‑Rivières, a city in Quebec’s Mauricie region.

Can I bring my kids?
Yes. Plus, children aged 6 and under are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately, animals are not allowed on Île St-Quentin.
Can I bring chairs?
You can bring camping chairs and blankets to make yourself comfortable in the park before or after the show. However, remember that the concerts themselves are on the water and therefore only accessible by watercraft.
How does the boat launch work?
If you’re bringing your own boat:
A boat launch area will be clearly indicated on site. You can unload your boats there before parking. The parking lot is about 700 metres from the boat launch.
If you’ve reserved a rental boat:
Head to the kiosk in the parking lot near the boat launch. Follow the directions on site.
How will I received my tickets?
Your tickets will be sent by email. You can download them to your phone or print them out. The box office will scan their QR codes.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, you are welcome to picnic. Also, two food trucks are on site, starting at noon, during events on Île St-Quentin.
To keep the surrounding nature litter-free, please dispose of your garbage in the trash cans on site. We recommend bring a bag for this purpose.
Drinking water is available on-site to fill reusable bottles, but please note that glass bottles are prohibited.
Can I bring alcohol?
It is prohibited to bring your own alcoholic beverages. There will be a bar on site.**
**WARNING: The Quebec Highway Code’s rules regarding impaired driving will apply at all times. If drug or alcohol abuse is suspected, spectators will not be allowed to board watercraft and will not be reimbursed their concert fees. We recommend moderate drug and alcohol use to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
SAFETY AND ACCESSIBILITY
Is Île St-Quentin and the event accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Like most parks, some of the site is grass, rock and sand. There is an incline to get to the boat launch. The site should accessible to all, if accompanied.
Washrooms for people with reduced mobility are available near the boat launch and on the island.

Is there an ATM on Île St-Quentin?
There are no ATMs on site. The bar and street trucks will accept cards and cash.
Will there be security on site?
Your safety is our priority! A patrol team of lifeguards will be on hand to guide you to the concert site and ensure your safety.
Since some concerts will be held in the evening, please bring a headlamp or flashlight.
Nautical law requires everyone on a watercraft at night to have a light on their PFD.
Is there on-site parking?
Yes! There are two parking lots on Île St-Quentin.
Option 1: Free parking near the boat launch.

Option 2: Paid parking ($7), located about 700 metres from the boat launch. See location on map.
What happens if it rains?
Concerts on the water cannot be held when there is rain, thunderstorms or high winds. However, we cancel our concerts only at the last minute, so it’s best to show up just in case!
Arrive prepared: if there is only light rain, the show will go on, but on land. Plan your attire accordingly!
In the event of heavy rain, thunderstorms or strong winds, however, shows will be cancelled.
PLEASE NOTE: TICKETS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IF THE SHOW IS CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER.
What happens if the show is cancelled for a reason other than the weather?
If a concert cannot be held for any reason other than weather or force majeur, the show will be cancelled and the tickets refunded.
What kind of facilities and services are there on Île St-Quentin?
Drinking water. Bring your own reusable bottles !
