Contre-Courant is a desire for a genuine connection between nature, human, and art.

It’s an alternative venue inviting audiences to rediscover nature through art. Framed within an eco-responsible approach, the project presents a series of concerts allowing a reappropriation of our natural spaces.

A forest, a mountain, an island can all become as many ephemeral stages. Quebec’s lakes and waterways are also within range, thanks to a floating stage specifically designed for the project, where the audience is invited to hop aboard watercrafts to witness unique concerts and to partake in this one-of-a-kind experience, while allowing for harmonious social distancing.

Born of an era in transformation, Contre-Courant is the will of a return to core values, to the essence of an intimate experience between audience and artist.
